Happy New Year!
Just a reminder that the shop is closed December 25th thru January 4th
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Holiday Season. We have a great selection of Classes, Tea Parties,
Workshops & Block-Of-The-Month programs for your winter enjoyment. Oh yes, I can’t forget to mention
the NEW “Vintage Notions Club” & “Jo’s Little Women Club” that you won’t want to miss if you love the
19th century look. Also, “Christmas Club” is back by popular demand. We have also received a lot of new
fabric collections for all your new projects for spring.
I hope to see you all soon for one reason or another, but until then, sit back with a warm beverage and
enjoy our 2012 winter class schedule.

Class Policy
**Class size is limited and payment for class is always at time of registration.
**If you register by phone, credit card payment is expected.
**If you cancel from a class you must give us 7 days notice in order to
receive a store credit.
**Because of our busy schedule we do not have make-up classes, so, PLEASE
mark your calendar & make every effort to arrive prepared.
**We reserve the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum.
**Supply lists are available only after registration & payment has been made.
**It is the responsibility of the student to pick up the needed supply list & supplies
prior to the date of class.
**Remember, helping you choose your fabrics for class is always a pleasure!
ELNA DEMO DAYS – As many of you know, we are now an ELNA sewing machine dealer. On Thursday,
Friday & Saturday, January 12th thru 14th all seven models of machines will be set up in the classroom
for customers to try out & ask questions. Steve will be demonstrating features on all the machines.
No appointments necessary.
COTTON CLUB - Block-Of-The-Month – This is a reminder for the girls who have already signed up for
this class. Class Fee: $5.00 a month, Dates are as follows:
Class Dates: Sundays, January 8th – February 12th – March 11th 1:00 – 4:00
BALTIMORE CHRISTMAS – Block-Of-The-Month – This is a reminder for the girls who have already
signed up for this class. Class Fee: $5.00 a month, Dates are as follows: Sundays, January 15th
– February 19th – March 18th 1:00 – 4:00
CIVIL WAR JOURNALS – Block-Of-The-Month – This program runs for 12 months & allows you to either
make (1) queen size quilt or (4) smaller quilts all from the same fabric packets. The BOM starts Friday
January 20th & is available for pick-up the 3rd Friday of each month. Members will pay first & last month
installment to join this program. Price is $29.95 each month plus shipping if you decide not to pick it up.
CHRISTMAS CLUB WORKSHOPS- Back by popular demand. Once a month for six months we make a
different project, something you can repeat & make for gifts or decorating & then by the time Christmas
arrives you have quite a holiday stash for family & friends. Club meets the 1st Saturday of each month
starting February 4th. 1:00 – 4:00 Club Fee: $60.00 plus small kit fee for project at
each meeting.
VINTAGE STYLE SEWING NOTIONS CLUB – In this club we will be making a variety of antique inspired
notions using different techniques (machine piecing,
wool appliqué & hand stitching). The club meets the 1st Sunday of each month for five months starting
February 5th from 1:00-4:00.
Club Membership Fee: $50.00 plus small kit fee for project at each meeting.
JO’S LITTLE WOMEN “Club 11” – We have all been waiting for this one to arrive in the mail. This is a 10
month session (8 different projects) that meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 1:00-4:00. We work
on a different project each month (2 of the projects span 2 months) using all Jo Morton fabrics from
Andover. Every project will be machine pieced with one quilt having applique. To join the club you
purchase the stack of “Bridgeport” that is due to arrive in January, along with a few additional Jo’s fabrics
that you might need from month to month.
Only Jo’s fabrics are allowed to be used in the projects. Class starts February 111h. First Five Month
Installment Payment for Classes & Patterns: $65.00.
Second Installment of $65.00 is due by July 1st. Club Membership is limited.
RABBIT’S PREFER CHOCOLATE – Block-Of-The-Month – This is an absolutely adorable quilt with
machine piecing & lots of easy appliqué. Make a block at a time & it will be finished before you know it.
Class meets the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1:00 – 4:00 starting April 15th.
First Six Month Installment Payment for Classes & Patterns: $100.00. Second Installment of $100.00 is
due by October 1st. Fabrics & supplies are additional.
TEA PARTY – BE MY VALENTINE – Join us for a delightful afternoon with friends, sewing & treats from
Steve’s Kitchen. We will be creating a wool appliqué project just perfect for the Valentine Holiday.

TEA PARTY – THINK SPRING – Join us & create a delightful wool appliqué project while enjoying
delicious refreshments, what could be better?

CINNAMON ROLL SUNDAY – Three different varieties of homemade cinnamon rolls & a wool appliqué
project just perfect for the Easter Holiday.

SIT & SEW SATURDAYS – This is a perfect opportunity to dig out those (UFO’s) & finish them up. Bring
whatever you need help on to the class & I will circulate the room & assist everyone with their projects.
Bring a bagged lunch & we will serve coffee & dessert. We have two different dates to choose from.
January 28th or March 17th 10:00 – 4:00 Fee: $25.00
COTTON APPLIQUE FOR BEGINNERS – In this 2 week class you will learn the techniques of hand
appliqué & make a beautiful pillow.
Saturdays, February 4th & 11th 10:00 – 12:00 Fee: $20.00 plus supplies
CURTAIN VALANCE WORKSHOP – These lined valances are so easy to make you will want to make
them for every room in your home.
Saturday, February 25th 10:00 – 12:00 Fee: $10.00 plus supplies
EMBROIDERED BUNNY QUILT – Join us for 1 Saturday a month (3 months) & learn embroidery while
making this adorable bunny quilt for someone special.
This is a great beginner to intermediate project. Class meets Feb 25th, March 24th & April 28th 1:00
– 4:00 Fee: $35.00 plus supplies
DOUBLE HANDLED BASKET QUILT – This is another Jo Morton quilt that is machine pieced with just a
little hand appliqué. A must have for all you Jo fans.
Saturdays, March 10th – March 24th – April 14th 10:00 – 12:00 Fee: $30.00
plus supplies
SPRING ROMANCE – QUILT IN A DAY – Make this quick & easy Jelly Roll quilt. Bring a bagged lunch &
we will serve coffee & dessert. Class fee includes your choice of Jelly Roll, Bali Pop or Tonga Treat. You
purchase the border & binding.
Saturday, March 31st 10:00 – 4:00 Fee: $65.00 Includes Roll
